CCA'S educational team not only has a heart to provide an atmosphere for your child to know the Lord, but also has many years of combined experience within both the public school system as well as within private college preparatory system. 

Kim stutz 

Curriculum Oversight, Teaching, administration

Kim Stutz has been involved in both public and private education since 1999. Kim has taught in both elementary, middle, and high school levels.  She is a Texas state certified teacher with ESL certification and a certified Special Education teacher at all levels.  Currently she enjoys helping her husband,  Gary,  pastor Chapel of the Hills Assembly Of God where she teaches an adult Christian Education Class and oversees the Women's Ministry.  Career Highlights and opportunities that have forever impacted Kim's life and her philosophy in Christian Education include:  being involved in the historic Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, FL;  being on the faculty and involved with the people of Sherwood Christian Academy in Albany, GA where the movie "Facing The Giants" was filmed; working with holocaust survivors at Breman Holocaust Museum in Atlanta, GA where she assisted in developing age appropriate curriculum for holocaust education for all Georgia middle school students; and developing a traveling drama ministry team at Victory Christian School in Foley, AL.  Kim will be joining CCA faculty in the role of school administrator, curriculum oversight, as well as actively teaching in the classroom.

Preschool Lead

I'm married to my wonderful husband and we have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. We also have 3 wonderful grand girls, twins (2) and one that's 3. I have been a stay at home mom for 13yrs to spend quality time with my children and family. I have my Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and love teaching kids. I have been a substitute for 5yrs at Leon ISD and loved it. I am also on the praise and worship team at Grace Tabernacle in Dew, TX and love doing it. I believe God led me to CCA so I can bless other people's children. I am here to be a blessing to everyone who comes my way. 


Sky Almaguer

Science & Social Studies Kindergarten - 3rd Grade

I’m married to Orlando and we have 2 daughters, Selena and Chelsea where we are part of Chapel Of the Hills Church. I was a stay at home wife and mother until I started at Chapel Christian Academy their 1st school year. I love seeing the kids learn, grow, and be told about the love of Jesus. I truly believe God has me where he wants me and it where I need to be


SHelley Klock

Curriculum Oversight, Teaching, Physical Education

Shelley Klock has experience teaching in the public, private, and homeschool setting. She is a Texas State certified teacher in Special Education, Earth Science and Elementary Education. Shelley has also coached various sports in the Centerville area, and volleyball for the Brazos Valley Christian Homeschool Education Association (Brazos Valley Mustangs), where her teams earned two state titles and one national title. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Shelley will be joining the CCA faculty as a classroom, and physical education teacher.


Keelie Barrow

Preschool/policy oversight

A product of Christian education herself, Keelie homeschooled her three children through their preschool and early elementary years. She later returned to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a master’s degree in urban affairs and policy from UT-Arlington. Traveling with her husband Doug, and spending time with her four grandchildren are two of her favorite pastimes. She has served as a substitute at CCA for the past two years and enjoys working with the students. Keelie is active in efforts to return educational rights to the parents at the local and state levels. She believes God has great plans for this younger generation and wants to help prepare them to fulfill the purpose He has for their lives.
